What's Leaving Netflix in September 2026

September 2026 is bringing one of the biggest single-day purges Netflix has seen in a long time. On September 1 alone, the entire Rocky franchise — all six original films — departs alongside the complete Creed trilogy, plus modern classics like Schindler's List, The Big Lebowski, and The Breakfast Club. More titles follow throughout the month, including the full run of Nashville in mid-September.
Every date below comes from the removal notice Netflix itself displays on each title in the US, verified as of early August 2026. Netflix's full monthly Tudum list for September hasn't been published yet, so this reflects the removal notices already live on the titles — it will almost certainly grow as Netflix posts more.
Removal dates are set by licensing agreements and can change — services sometimes extend licenses or pull titles earlier than announced.

What to Watch First
If you can't get to everything, prioritize these.
- The Rocky and Creed films — nine movies vanishing on the same day; this is the headline departure, so start here if you only have time for one franchise.
- Schindler's List — Spielberg's Best Picture winner rarely stays on a subscription tier for long; watch it free while you can.
- The Big Lebowski — the Coen brothers' cult comedy is endlessly rewatchable and never sits on one service for long.
- Nashville — all six seasons is a long binge, so start well before September 15.
- Orphan Black — Tatiana Maslany's clone thriller is a fast, essential five-season watch leaving September 1.
- The Green Knight — the 2021 Arthurian fantasy is worth at least one dreamlike viewing before September 1.

How StreamingBeam Helps
StreamingBeam's Leaving Soon tracker pulls the same removal notices Netflix posts on its titles and flags everything departing your subscribed services in one place — so a title you planned to watch doesn't quietly disappear first. Open any title's page and set a leaving alert: if its license is extended or it moves to another service, we'll show that, and if it really leaves, you get a heads-up with enough time to finish it.
