Welcome to StreamingBeam ("we," "our," or "us"), a service operated by Blumonic LLC. StreamingBeam is a streaming discovery platform that helps users find which streaming services carry movies and television shows.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at streamingbeam.com and use our services. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the site.

Information You Provide Directly

• Account registration: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in encrypted form).
• Payment information: When you subscribe to StreamingBeam Premium, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full credit card number. Stripe may share limited transaction data with us such as the last four digits of your card and billing zip code.
• Profile preferences: Streaming services you select as your subscriptions under "My Services."
• Communications: If you contact us for support, we collect the content of your messages.

Information Collected Automatically

• Search queries: We log the titles you search for to improve our service and enforce daily search limits for free tier users.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent on the platform, and click patterns.
• Device information: Browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and IP address.
• Cookies and tracking technologies: We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and deliver advertising on our free tier. See Section 6 for more detail.

Information From Third Parties

• Google OAuth: If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
• Watchmode API: We use the Watchmode API to retrieve streaming availability data. We do not share your personal information with Watchmode.
• Google AdSense: If you use the free tier, Google may collect data to serve personalized advertisements. See Section 5.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Process subscription payments and manage billing
• Deliver the core service — returning streaming availability results for your searches
• Enforce free tier limitations (daily search cap, watchlist cap)
• Send availability alert notifications you have opted into
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, subscription receipts)
• Send service announcements and product updates (you may opt out of marketing emails at any time)
• Personalize your experience based on your saved streaming services
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the platform
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your personal information to serve advertisements (advertising on the free tier is served by Google AdSense based on their own data practices — see Section 5).

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers

We share information with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate StreamingBeam, including:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
• Google LLC — authentication (Google OAuth), advertising (Google AdSense), and analytics. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
• Watchmode — streaming availability data. We send search queries to Watchmode but do not share your personal identifying information.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — to host and deliver our web application.

All service providers are contractually required to use your information only as directed by us and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests such as subpoenas, court orders, or government regulations. We will notify you of such requests unless prohibited by law.

Business Transfers

If Blumonic LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

With Your Consent

We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

StreamingBeam's free tier is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Google AdSense uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website and other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com or by visiting aboutads.info.

Premium subscribers do not see any advertisements on StreamingBeam.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of StreamingBeam, including your ability to stay logged in.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically:

• Account data: Retained until you delete your account or request deletion.
• Search logs: Retained for 90 days to enforce search limits and improve our service.
• Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations.
• Support communications: Retained for 2 years.

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encrypted password storage (bcrypt hashing)
• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Secure payment processing through Stripe (PCI DSS compliant)

StreamingBeam is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete that information promptly. StreamingBeam is operated from the United States. If you are accessing our service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using StreamingBeam, you consent to this transfer.
